1. The content of sodium carboxymethylcellulose is equal to 100% minus the mass fraction of sodium glycolate (w1) and the mass fraction of chloride (w2).
2. The viscosity of sodium carboxymethyl cellulose is equal to the reading indicated by the pointer of the rotational viscometer × the coefficient of the rotor and the rotational speed selected for the measurement
3. Determination of the degree of substitution, please refer to the annex GB1886.232-2016 A.5
4. Determination of PH: Measure the pH of 10g/L sample aqueous solution with potentiometric method or with pH test paper. When measuring by potentiometric method, follow the provisions of GB/T9724. Weigh about 1.0g of sample, accurate to 0.01g, add 100 mL of carbon dioxide-free water, and measure after mixing evenly.
